Hi everyone,
This has been a whirlwind of a month. We have officially entered into a pandemic with COVID-19 that has shut down most of the world. With all of this in mind, I wanted to let you all know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and while this virus is effecting our lifestyles it doesn’t have to be in a completely negative way. I’ve been dealing with this as a track athlete, with all my competitions getting postponed or canceled. It’s hard and frustrating since these are fewer and fewer opportunities to qualify for the Olympics. However, on the positive side – it gives me more time to perfect my technique and be prepared for whenever I do get the opportunity to compete.
Everything happens for a reason and it is important to always look at the positive. Negativity breeds negativity as Panic breeds panic.
I believe that this is a perfect time to unwind, destress, and put ourselves in positive places. Even though gyms are currently closed on the East Coast. I’ve created some at-home workouts that I will be posting on my blog and on youtube. Which I will link to tomorrow. I will probably be posting 2 Fitness workouts videos a week (Wednesdays- per usual and Saturdays) that you can do in your home and with household items that most people will have. So you can expect to have some quality workouts to go to on this site as the days pass by.
Make sure you share this with your friends and get them on these workouts with you. Exercising is always more fun with friends.
