As a track athlete, and someone who practically LIVES in athletic wear. I take shopping for leggings very seriously. I test them out before I buy them because god forbid you to get leggings that ride down when you are working out! Its the biggest annoyance and lowkey stressful having to constantly make sure your underwear is not showing.
So because of the particular taste in the type of my leggings, I figured I would share with you guys 5 of my favorite performance leggings that I own and have worked wonders for me.
All of these leggings and reviews are from my own experiences with them working out and sweating, probably really bad in them.
None of these leggings are in any particular order. That being said I will rate them out of 5 so that you can see which is my favorite out of my favorites.
Bamboo Clothing Leggings 7/8th Enduro Leggings – I am absolutely in love with this new brand. They are a sustainable clothing brand that creates activewear made out of, you guessed it BAMBOO! I was skeptical at first when I first heard about them. However, after trying them on and sweating in them I realized they are the leggings for me. They are soft and form-fitting. One of the pairs that I have even had a small pocket on the side of it. I think if you are looking for a way to reduce your carbon footprint then this is the company to buy from. 5/5 $50
Outdoor Voices Zoom 7/8 Leggings. – These leggings fit so good and they don’t ride down at all. I squat, jump, and sprint in these leggings and I don’t have to constantly pull them up. I did size down in them to get a tighter fit however I own 2 pairs of these leggings in my regular size S and size down xs and neither of them fall down. Lowkey went a size down because it was the last one of the colors in the store. 5/5 $95
Outdoor Voices Flex Leggings – Unlike the zoom, the Flex leggings don’t have a high waistband. What they do have is a tie in the front which lets you adjust the waistband. When I am running and sprinting these legging don’t fall done. However, for high-intensity jump practices where I am landing in loads of sand, they do ride down a bit. Which is to be expected when launching yourself into a pile of dirt at full speed. 4/5 $88
Under Armour HeatGear Leggings – I got these as a surprise gift from my friend. The reason why I like this one is because of the material and breathability of the fabric. The higher waistband keeps it from falling down and there is even a pocket in the front of the leggings to hold your phone. I think these are comfortable and really cute. There is also mesh at the bottom that helps let air in which is nice since it is now 1 million degrees outside. 5/5 $55
Fabletics Ultra High Waisted Seamless Sprint Leggings – While I would consider this an Autumn to Winter Leggings I definitely think that its material is denser than the others. So running in cooler climates would make more sense or if you were doing something like yoga indoors. It really does hold onto your body and give you a cute shape. I think these are aesthetically pleasing and I’m happy I purchased them. 4/5 $49
Fabletics Quarter Tights – These leggings I recently bought from Fabletics and probably the photo that has brought you here. These leggings are super comfortable and breathable. I think the material is really conducive for sweating and I worked well when I was jumping into the sand. Fabletics has a ton of leggings so I would definitely make sure that you are reading the material before buying to make sure the fabric is right for you. These Leggings I would 5/5 recommend. $40
Finding the perfect leggings for any sports activity can sometimes be a hassle. I hope this post helps you find a company or pair of leggings that works perfectly for you. All leggings are linked to the photo and product info above.
