With all of this in mind, I wanted to let you all know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and while this virus is effecting our lifestyles it doesn’t have to be in a completely negative way. I’ve been dealing with this as a track athlete, with all my competitions getting postponed or canceled. It’s hard and frustrating since these are fewer and fewer opportunities to qualify for the Olympics. However, on the positive side – it gives me…

2/28 Indoor Meet recap + Future plans

I wanted to write a recap of my last meet that I competed in at Ocean Breeze in NY. My indoor season consisted of about 3 meets roughly. Our focus this season was to figure out the technique and fix certain things from a half approach (which means less speed and technique) so that when I go to full approach there are fewer major things to fix. Mission Espresso: Kingtusgi Cafe

All I can say is WOW. This amazing picturesque cafe is honestly a creative dream. When you enter the door you are immediately greeted by a sea of earthy tones that instantly inspire your creativity. The atmosphere felt inviting and while it had its space for collaborative work there was also space for solitary. I saw people reading books and enjoying a nice latte as they entered their world of literature. I ordered an oat milk latte (which now I am obsessed with) and got a house-made coffee cake. Both complimented each other so nicely. I sat in two different spots. The first was the bar area right next to…
